Well, the clock is ticking. Joel is looking much better than yesterday, but he's still on some high flow air. Normally, they prefer less oxygen-dependency...but he's stable and the window for his surgery is small. They are still pushing for Joel to transfer tomorrow for his surgery. They will call the other hospital in the morning to discuss his status, and decide whether to move forward or wait. I think the poor guy just wants this all to be over so things get back to normal...milk, bottles, etc. He's in for a big couple of days, but hopefully he'll be seeing much better when it's all done with!

I pray that he continues to improve and the right decision is made. He is so adorable the way he holds his pacifier. He really has started to develop some personality here lately! So cute. We will pray for him in staff devotions today at my church. Love to all
