Joel - 3 weeks, 5 days

Well, Joel had more visitors today. Grandma and Great-Grampy were in town! Joel seemed to enjoy the attention. We were lucky to find out that great-grandparents count as grandparents, too, for visiting rules.

Grandma was able to visit, too, but he was back in bed by then. We learned that he might need a surgery to get rid of a small connection between his belly button and bladder. It's something that happens in-utero and usually goes away before babies are born...he was a bit early, and there's a small remnant there. It's pretty common and an easy fix, but it's a surgery he might need.

Later, Jake and I went back for bath night. He HATES bath night. Is it bad that it's kind of cute when he's mad? We stole a couple of quick pictures while we were there, including our first "family" picture. It's not perfect, but it's a start!
